One of the more black metal of the Cara Neir releases. The first two and half songs are all blasts and fury. Truly vicious vocal delivery on them. The last half of the third song slows down and turns moody, and then the drums go totally bananas at the end. What a journey.

Pour leur première apparition sur la scène, Cara Neir ne fait pas les choses à moitié. Enfin, si on voulait jouer sur les mots, on pourrait dire que si vu que leur premier album est divisé en deux parties, Part I / Part II et que les deux sont très contrastées. En tout cas, le duo avance avec la puissance d'un char d'assaut sur Part I avec un blackened crust/punk qui en met plein les oreilles : les pistes sont très brèves pour maintenir la tension à son maximum. Part I est un sacré départ !
